The health and safety of our customers, employees and suppliers is our highest priority.

Dear Friends, 
Please rest assured that during this extraordinary and challenging time, we at Magnotta Winery are closely monitoring the COVID-19 global crisis on a daily basis. We are following very seriously the guidance coming from our provincial and federal governments and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).

To ensure everyone’s safety and well-being, we continue to implement protocols to respond to the changing situation including the following:

STORE OPERATIONS
* Facial masks recommended in order to enter all Magnotta retail locations; facial masks mandatory for all retail staff.
* Hand sanitizing mandatory to enter all Magnotta retail locations.
* Escalated the cleaning and sanitizing of all areas of our stores and offices to go beyond our already rigorous food safety and personal hygiene standards.
* Posted signs on all front doors of our stores asking customers to self-check their risk level (via a questionnaire) before entering.
* Regularly communicate with our stores to share government-issued public health guidelines and updates by Retail Council of Canada (RCC).
* Instructed our staff to stay home if they have symptoms or feel unwell.
* Empowered all managers to send an employee home if he/she appears unwell.
* Provided our employees with the tools to respond quickly to emerging developments.
* Established an internal task force to monitor the situation daily, ensuring that our standards are being strictly adhered to and adjustments are made swiftly.

SOCIAL/PHYSICAL DISTANCING
* Implemented plexi-glass shields at cash desks to protect customers and employees.
* Implemented curbside pick-up for our online shoppers who would like to pick up their online orders outside our stores. Available during retail store hours.

MAGNOTTA HAND SANITIZER: 
We offer a large-size hand sanitizer (750ml bottle) produced by Magnotta Distillery with a minimum $10 donation per bottle. While supplies last. All proceeds will go to the G. Magnotta Foundation for Vector-Borne Diseases to support Lyme Disease research in Canada. Click for details.
