By utilizing Magnotta Premium Hopped Gin, this cocktail introduces a unique botanical complexity and a delicate citrus-forward bitterness that traditional gins lack. Named as a nod to the winery’s flagship heritage, it is a sophisticated sparkling cocktail that highlights the elegance of Magnotta’s 1925 collection.
Ingredients:
1 oz Magnotta Premium Hopped Gin
0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
3 oz 1925 Sparkling Wine (Chardonnay or Vidal)
Garnish: Lemon twist
Preparation
1. Combine the hopped gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled flute or coupe glass.
4. Top with your choice of 1925 Chardonnay or 1925 Vidal.
5. Twist the lemon peel over the glass to release the oils, then drop it in.
